Even though this one is listed as being from the middle of october, it's actually from the beginning of the school year. Yeah, this was the beginning of year four. I have been drawing Not Quite Wrong for a total now of over four years. I started in the fall of 2001 (my freshman year of college) and never missed an issue all the way through. Since I (somehow) graduated on time, that means four full years of comic-y goodness.
For those of you that wonder why there are not four years' worth of comics on the site, there are a few reasons:
1. I haven't finished the archive.
2. I enjoy keeping you in suspense for more.
3. Year one SUCKS. While I admit to the existence of the first year of NQW, they were really just wrong. And not in the 'that is perverted' kind of way, but the 'that isn't funny' kind. I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do, and they aren't at all consistent in size, style, format, etc. Mostly, they just aren't very funny. When the archive is finally complete it will include years 2-4. Unless there is a huge writing campaign demanding the release of those first comics, assuming I could even find them, they won't be shown here or anywhere else. Seriously, they stink.
