Here is the comic for Friday. It is being posted a little before midnight on Thursday, which means that, oh yes, it was done ahead of schedule. It was actually done a full DAY ago! What's that? What's that? You like it? I know you do!
Okay, enough about that. I know I got news via teh LJ that some people don't really understand what's going on in the comic. Is this a common problem? I thought not, but now I'm beginning to worry. If so, let me know. Otherwise, I'm gonna keep doing what I'm doing.
As this online comic is still pretty new, it is settling into its own style, pacing, art, plots, etc. and this includes these posts. I've been trying to decide if I want to post all about myself here, or to keep my internet persona completely mysterious. What I have decided is that it is fun to post fun links on my website. However, I am never in on the fun link postings, and hear about everything a couple months late. It's a problem I have.
Okay, some TV stuff. The last comic I talked about Degrassi. What I was really talking about is "Degrassi: Old School" which is abou 10 times sadder than watching Degrassi: The Next Generation. It is the 80's version of the show, which is exactly 100% cheesy. Every character has a huge problem, and it is a series of after school specials strung together. The funniest part is the endings, which end at a terribly awkward and trajic time in the show. You always want the episode to finish, and it leaves you hanging! It's like having "shave and a haircut, two--".
The reason I bring it up or put it in the comic at all is that I owe Degrassi and my friend Dana for the comics getting done lately. She lives nearby, comes by at midnight, and we watch Degrassi while I work on the comic. We mostly just sit around and make fun of the thing, but it is a good time.
I know every other webcomic in the world gives you video game stuff and movie reviews, so I'll keep this quick. Adult Swim is always a good bit of TV, but now even more good stuff is coming. Mostly Boondocks the TV show. One of the best comics in your local newspaper is now a TV show, and on Adult Swim it is bound to be off the hizzy.
